Forensic Slant Evaluator

Measure the geometric baseline and ascender angles of a signature. Forgers often struggle to replicate a subject's natural, subconscious slant consistently.

This interactive tool requires JavaScript to manipulate images and calculate angles dynamically on canvas. Since JS is disabled, you can use our manual fallback method:

Print the signature at high resolution.
Draw a straight line connecting the bottom of the first and last lowercase letters (the baseline).
Draw a vertical line intersecting the baseline at 90 degrees.
Draw a line following the primary axis of the tallest letter (e.g., 'l', 't', 'h').
Use a physical protractor to measure the angle between the vertical line and the ascender line.
